This policy explains what personal information Worthback collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to worthback.in and to messages you send us by email or through our social media pages.
1. Who we are
Worthback is an Indian cashback and rewards website. You can reach us at support@worthback.in or by post at Tronglaobi Tidim Road, Manipur.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name and email address.
- Purchase details: the store, order ID, order date and order amount you report to us.
- Payout details: your UPI ID and the amount you ask to withdraw.
- Anything else you write in your message, and any attachments you choose to send.
Information from stores and affiliate networks
When you buy through a Worthback link, the store or its affiliate network reports the transaction to us, usually with an order reference, date, order value, status and our commission. We use this to match and approve your cashback.
Information from using the website
Our website does not use analytics tools, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and does not ask you to create an account. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
When you click an offer, you leave Worthback for the store's website. The store and its affiliate network may set their own cookies to record that you came from Worthback. Their use of your information is covered by their own privacy policies.
3. How we use it
- To match your reported purchases with store reports and work out your cashback.
- To pay approved cashback to your UPI ID.
- To reply to your questions and keep you updated on your cashback status by email.
- To investigate missing cashback with the store or affiliate network.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process your information with your consent, which you give when you contact us or ask for cashback, and where the law otherwise permits, as set out in India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with:
- Stores and affiliate networks, such as an order ID and date, when we need to confirm or chase your cashback.
- Banks and payment providers, to send your UPI payout.
- Service providers who run our email and website hosting for us, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while it is needed to handle your cashback and requests. After that we delete it, except for records the law requires us to keep, such as payment and accounting records, which we keep only for the required period.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- withdraw your consent (this may mean we can no longer pay cashback that is still pending);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
Email support@worthback.in from the address you used with us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. How to delete your data
Email support@worthback.in with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address you used with us. If you contacted us through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, include your profile name or number so we can find those messages too. We will confirm by email once your data is deleted, and tell you about anything we must keep by law.
You can also use the contact form and choose "Privacy or data deletion".
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method is completely secure, so please never send us passwords, PINs, OTPs or card details. We will never ask for them.
9. Children
Worthback is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
